Adewale Ayuba Denies His Alleged Beating By Mopol

Bonsue King, Adewale Ayuba has denied news making the rounds that he was beaten to a pulp by mobile policemen on the instructions of an Ibadan socialite for coming late to an engagement for which he was contracted.

The Managing Director of Goldmyne Entertainment, Otunba Sesan Rufai who put a call to Chief Ayuba who responded thus:

“My brother i have received thousands of calls from eminent Nigerians and many of my fans all over the world that i was beaten up by some mobile policemen courtesy of a socialite. I want to use this medium to say categorically that such thing did not happen at all. It is uncalled for. Am a core professional in this business and there is no reasons for such. Am very ok and fine. It is the handiwork of enemies of progress.”

Ayuba expressed surprise that such a tale will spring up now that his new album, ‘Sugar’ is becoming a huge success.
