Delta Police spokesman killed in auto crash

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Lucky Uyabeme, Sunday evening, died in a fatal accident around Ogwashi-Uku, along the Asaba-Ughelli expressway.

The police spokesman, who was driving a Toyota Highlander, was said to be returning from Kwale, where he had attended a burial ceremony when the accident occurred.
Sources say Uyabeme was travelling in company of two others – Ozobume Innocent and Mrs. Philomena Atuya.
The vehicle reportedly skidded off the road, somersaulted several times and caught fire.
The two victims, who survived the crash, are responding to treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, same facility the corpse of the late PRO was deposited.
