At the resumption of hearing of the case, Ibrahim of Aso Pada, Nasarawa State, told the court that since their marriage about 15 months ago, he had been giving her some money to keep for him.
Ibrahim said that he would agreed to a divorce if she can marry another wife for him or give him N300,000.
“The money I gave her was to help us buy a house as we earlier agreed.
“Although I don’t really know how much I eventually gave to her, I think it should be up to N300,000.
“If she cannot give me the money, she should marry another woman for me.”
Lami, however, denied her husband’s allegations, saying that he had never given her money to keep for him.
He adjourned the case to Dec. 11.
Musa had on Nov. 14 when the case first came up adjourned to Dec 2 for possible reconciliation after Lami urged the court to dissolve the marriage for alleged excessive sexual urge.
She also told the court then that she was no longer interested in the 15-month-old marriage.
“I urge the court to dissolve this marriage because I can’t stand his excessive sexual urge. He likes sex too much, I can’t bear it.
“Most times, he will have sex with me from midnight till early hours of the morning, even when I am crying, he will not stop,’’ she alleged.
She also told the court that her husband was uncontrollable anytime he wanted sex and that he would even want to have sex not minding the presence of my children.
