Van Persie to be paid £250,000 bonus if United win the League

Manchester United striker, Robin van Persie, will pocket a £250,000 bonus, if the Red Devils are crowned champions of the English Premier League in May.
The windfall is one of the incentives, that was inserted in his contract, when he completed his £24 million move from Arsenal in the summer.
The Manchester club assembled a pay package for the 29-year-old worth £73m, including wages of around £235,000 a week, including image rights-related pay.

The Dutchman has been in sensational form, scoring 22 times already, with Sir Alex Ferguson’s men 10 points clear of City at the top of the log.
