This morning, P-Square's record label, Square Records, released a statement announcing that the label would no longer be associated with or working with its first signed artiste, May D.
And no reasons have been given yet for the split.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I,JUDE ‘ENGEES’ OKOYE of Square Records Limited and Northside Entertainment Limited hereby announces to the general public that Mr. Akinmayokun Awodumila, otherwise known as MAY D is no longer an artiste under the aforementioned outfits due to irreconcilable differences.
We at Northside and Square records wish him all the best in his career and life.

And here's MayD's answer when contacted by reporters on the phone about the split:
‘I don’t know what they are talking about‘, May D who sounded very relaxed.
‘You know I don’t stay in their house so how am I meant to know this?‘, he continued.
And when he was asked if Jude Okoye or anyone from Square Records had contacted him, he responded:
‘I don’t know, have a nice day‘.
