Fashola, avoid disaster

Fashola

I wish to commend the Lagos State government on the provision of a new pedestrian bridge just after Igbobi National Orthopaedic Hospital and before Fadeyi. However, our schoolchildren are at risk of falling into the BRT corridor as only one foot separates them from the buses that cruise down the road at 70/80kph. I suggest the state government provides a guard rail and speed bumps to slow the buses to 40/45kph or less. In the United States, 30mph max is recommended around school areas. I can’t help but speak out as I watch them from the usual slow moving traffic on my way back from work.
