service provider, Spectranet, has urged stakeholders in Nigeria’s
Information and Communications Technology industry to work together in
driving broadband penetration in the country.
The Chief Operating Officer, Spectranet,
Mr. Atul Ojha, said this when the firm unveiled its ‘Pay lite download
heavy’ marketing plan in Lagos.
He said the plan was aimed at giving customers in Lagos and Abuja value for money as a value for money.
“This is a series of all new plans which
are specifically created to offer huge value for every Naira paid by
customers,” Ojha explained.
According to him, the plan will cater to
customers looking for significant value for money, while taking into
account the needs of students, families, upwardly mobile corporate
executives, corporate customers and people with keen interest in
downloading movies, music, games, among others.
The Spectranet COO added, “The plans are
also appealing to customers who are busy during the day but want to
enjoy the internet during the eve and night. Spectranet offers night
plan with a very lenient access time including offering 24 hours access
on night plan during weekend and public holidays.
“This offers great savings when you
consider the per gigabyte cost of data download. As a matter of fact
these plans are the best in the industry. Keeping in mind to offer value
for money the cost per GB download in some of the plans is as low as
N100.”
He said Spectranet was committed to
delivering the best possible experience to the customer not only on the
quality and grade of service but also on value for money and
convenience.
Paga, Swift announce payment partnership
Paga, a mobile payment service provider,
and Swift Networks Limited, a provider of wireless and fibre-based
broadband services, have announced a partnership aimed at providing
convenient self-payment options to all Swift broadband subscribers.
On the role of Paga as a payment driver
in the deal, the Chief Operating Officer Swift Networks, Mr. Chukwuma
Okoye, said, “With our reputation for providing fast broadband service
in the country, we are extremely excited to be working with Paga to make
our payment options just as swift and even more accessible to all our
customers.”
The partnership will see Swift Networks making Paga available as a payment option to its customers.
Commenting on the partnership, Paga Chief
Executive Officer, Mr. Tayo Oviosu, said, “Partnering with Swift is
just one of the many ways we are working with local service providers to
bring alternative payment options to their customers.
“More and more businesses are beginning
