Sometimes things that start off as small harmless jokes can quickly
escalate into something bigger than originally intended. Recently,
rumours spread that popular actress,
Funke Akindele was diagnosed with cancer. What started out as a PR stunt for her new movie
‘I Wish‘ soon had people offering their sympathies to the actress. The movie which is produced by Elvis Chucks features top acts like
Funke Akindele , Patience Ozokwor, Hafiz Oyetoro, Helen Paul, Chris Okagbue, Bishop Imeh and
Kola Olaiya.
Funke features as ‘Kemi’ a young girl who has to
deal with the ravages of cancer. The actress has over the years paired
herself with causes.

‘Jenifa’ looked at the ravages of HIV/AIDs and the series that brought her to the lime light
‘I Need To Know‘ took a critical look at safe sex orientation in youths.
So to clear the air, Funke Akindele doesn’t have cancer.
