Moses

Moses knew he had joined a title winning team after the very first
training session with Liverpool after his loan switch from Chelsea.
The Nigerian, who joined the club in the
summer, insists he said all along the Anfield side would win their first
league title in 24 years.
Moses has played 20 times for Liverpool this term, scoring two goals, but his future at the club is unknown.
Moses told the Liverpool Echo,
“When I first came here, I knew that Liverpool were going to win the
league… honest! Even when I spoke to the press, I said that we would win
it.
“Just from seeing the way everyone
trained, that first training session, and the games that I played in
early on, I could see the quality that we have here. There is huge
talent at this club, and I knew that this team could go far.
“We are in a position now where if we win
the rest of our games, we will win the Premier League. That’s not a bad
position to be in, is it?”
Moses is on loan with the Reds from
Chelsea. The performance at Anfield is far below the expectations from
the Nigeria attacker given the celebrations that greeted his arrival
from Stamford Bridge. Raheem Sterling has since overtaken him in pecking
order after his initial lead.
But in spite of his
limited show for the Reds, Moses is expected to make the Super Eagles
squad to the 2014 World Cup kicking off in Brazil from June 12.
